1941

A Steven Spielberg WWII comedy with a star-studded cast.

- Watch closely and you’ll see Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler) in his first big screen appearance as Pvt. Reese.

- Spielberg even takes a jab at himself by starting 1941 with actress Susan Backlinie being stalked by a sub. Backlinie also swam alone and naked as she was stalked and attacked in his movie Jaws.

- All told, seven directors were involved in this movie: Spielberg directed it. Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale wrote it. John Milius helped with production. Brian De Palma contributed a gag, and Samuel Fuller and John Landis have cameo roles.
