Anytime with Bob Kushell

Former Simpson’s writer and show runner, Bob Kushell, brings his funny to a five-minute talk show stocked with ample A-list talent.

- Behind the scenes fact: The curtain behind Bob is manually operated by one of the cameramen, who stands backstage with the guest, opens and closes the curtain, then sneaks out to man the third camera.

- Bob rose to prominence with a video he made during the '07-'08 writer’s strike which had special guest star Christina Applegate (”Married with Children”) who plays substitute for his wife.

- The set is designed by Emmy award winning “Will and Grace” designer, Glenda Rovello, and is literally bolted to the garage door – so if the garage ever opened, it would be crumpled, destroyed and end up in the alley behind the house.

- One of Bob Kushell’s first TV writing gigs was for a little show called “The Simpsons.” where Bob wrote "The Shinning" segment of “Treehouse of Horror V,” origin of one of the world’s greatest Simpson exchanges:
Homer: Well, what do you think, Marge? All I need is a title. I was thinking along the lines of... No TV and no beer make Homer something, something.
Marge: Go crazy?
Homer: Don't mind if I do!
