A mentally unstable Vietnam war veteran works as nighttime taxi driver in a city whose perceived decadence and sleaze feeds his urge to violently lash out, attempting to save a teenage prostitute in the process.
It was the mid-90s and people still got their news from the radio and newspapers...and sitcoms were still filmed in front a live studio audience. Luckily this show has big time comic heavyweights so the laughs were genuine.
