The 1970's variety show with a bizarre animated twist.
- The show originally aired on CBS as Sabrina and the Groovy Goolies. In 1971, Sabrina was spun off into her own show.
- The music from some of the Groovie Goolie segments was produced by Jackie Mills, who had also produced Bobby Sherman, the Brady Bunch Kids, and some of the Archie programs.
- A cover of the show’s theme song, performed by The Toadies, is included on the 1995 tribute album Saturday Morning: Cartoons' Greatest Hits.
This is the story of three animated movie monsters, picked to live in a castle and live together, to find out what happens when people stop being polite, and start singing folk songs... This isn't the real world. It's Groovie Goolies.
