- Writing the Roadents: Director Kristofer Updike and Creator Justin Hilden went to David (Buttercup) and Kevin (PeePee) with an outline and then had them improvise 20 minutes of hostile, in-character conversation which was then edited down and animated.

- The voice of PeePee, Kevin McShane, was nominated for one student academy award, won 3 student Emmy’s and has met Burt Reynolds.
