Stone Killer, The

This is hardcore, no holds barred Bronson at his grittiest.

- This film is a celluloid time capsule of 70's L.A. and New York, and it’s populated with a plethora of recognizable 70's character actors. There’s even some chase scenes that may just knock Bullitt’s off its pedestal.

- Of course Bronson turns in a trademark performance, but there’s something oddly fascinating about watching Norman Fell and John Ritter appear as cops in this film, just before the TV series Three's Company hit the small screen.

- Great Quotes: “You remember that cartoon of an old Roman Circus, where all the lions are roaring, and the page boy yells down the corridor... You've got five minutes, Christians.” - Detective Lt. Lou Torrey (Charles Bronson)

“A complete state of death.” - Detective Lt. Lou Torrey (Charles Bronson)

“Some little pig should have stayed home.” - Geraldine 'Gerry' Elizabeth Wexton (Kelley Miles)

- This film is part of the golden age of Bronson and was released between his hit man outing in The Mechanic and what could be his most famous outing as a vigilante in Death Wish. Bronson firmly established the antihero, and this film is a key to that reputation.
