The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb

The cinematic raw meat that Hammer Films fans must have to subsist.

-The curse of the mummy began after the discovery of King Tut's tomb in 1922. Legend has it that anyone who dared to open the tomb would suffer the wrath of the mummy. So of course many have tried. The reality series writes itself.

-Michael Carreras later went on to direct “Blood from the Mummy’s Tomb” in 1971 after original director Seth Holt caught a strange case of the hiccups and died before the picture was complete.

-Hammer Films had already done remakes of Frankenstein and Dracula as well as the original The Mummy in 1959. The UK based company ceased production in the 80’s but has since been bought by TV series Big Brother creator John de Mol so the mummy may rise again.
