Voodoo Island

Late night TV classic enhanced by the great character actor Elisha Cook Jr. as petty thief turned zombie.

-The first film of Adam West. After playing the role of a secret agent in a Nestle's Quik commercial in the early '60s, he caught the eye of ABC execs. They figured that he might be right for an upcoming TV show that was about to be produced, "Batman" (1966). The rest is history.

- Although set in the South Pacific, the film was actually filmed on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.

-Director, Reginald LeBorg, died while en route to an awards ceremony at which he was to be honored. This would suck royaly.
