We are looking for a Programming Manager to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Programming Manager is to identify and schedule the most entertaining, addictive content to meet the needs of the Crackle audience.

Reports to Director of Programming.

Responsibilities:

• Select and schedule compelling, engaging, highly entertaining video content that appeals to Crackle's target audience
• Manage programming slate
• Serve as 'subject matter expert'
• Measure and analyze success of programming initiatives and line-ups. Make adjustments per these findings
• Participate in the overall programming strategy
• Assist Crackle Studio in the development of original programming and/or 3rd party acquisition or licensing deals
• Initiate content development when appropriate
• Collaborate with Marketing on the building and maintaining of community relationships
• Enforce Crackle's strict Terms of Service that prohibit certain types of content

Requirements:

• You are a taste maker – have mastered the art of knowing what's hot before it is
• 2+ years of editorial or programming experience - online, magazine and/or television preferred
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in a specific areas of focus, (i.e. comedy, music, etc.) strongly preferred
• Experience at high-traffic, consumer facing, brand-name companies is a plus
• Variety of media experience primarily in online environment
• Familiarity with analyzing data and trends
• Proven ability and flexibility to steer in a market that is changing constantly and rapidly
• You probably spend more time than what may be considered healthy on the Internet
• Exceptional and proven people management skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects
• Good sense of humor, positive attitude, and proven dedication
